In this Peruvian tradition, you enter the wheel in the South, where you shed the wounds and stories that bind you to repetitive life patterns. This work honors the lineage of the Peruvian Medicine People—my grandmother and mother, the teachings of Alberto Villoldo, Marcela Lobos, the Q'ero, and my Ecuadorian teachers—as well as my Mayan ancestry from my father’s lineage in Mexico, the wisdom of the Cholq’ij calendar, and the Nahuales who walk with me. I offer this path in reverence to all my relations who walk the Medicine Path, seen and unseen.
